Justice Betty Roberts and Judge Mercedes Deiz were vitally supportive of OWLS and the Foundation. The Hon. Betty Roberts served on the Foundation Board from 1999 to 2002 and was its president in 2000. From 2002 until her passing in 2011, Roberts was a member of the Foundation’s Advisory Board.
Katherine O’Neil is the founding President of OWLS and served for many years on the OWLS Foundation Board and now on the Foundation’s Advisory Board.
The late Judge Jean Lewis was the first woman circuit court judge in Oregon.
Mary Leonard was the first woman admitted to practice law in Oregon.
Diane Rynerson, the former Executive Director of OWLS, has provided both OWLS and the OWLS Foundation with many years of tireless and invaluable service.
